NICETY'S INTERVIEW WITH FRANKIE BEVERLY

Mr. Frankie Beverly Thank You for giving The Start Over News Magazine the opportunity of a lifetime, the chance to interview the one and only Frankie Beverly..Leader & Lead Vocalist from the group Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. It was my pleasure to speak with you about your life in the entertainment industry. You are an amazingly talented group of musicians, your longevity should be looked at and learned by all other musicians. Ain't nothing like the real thing Frankie and you are it!! Everyone please forgive the quality of the recording just listen closely as Frankie and I conversate. Listen to Frankie elaborate on the rumors of him having cancer, on his longevity in the business and also he talks a little bit about Whitney Houston. Frankie was born & raised in Philadelphia and began singing as a child in church. Frankie relocated to the San Francisco Oakland area and that's where their popularity took off. Marvin Gaye took the group on the road as his opening act. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly arrived on the scene in 1977 with hit singles Happy Feelings, Lady Of Magic, & more!! We all rush out to buy tickets the moment we hear Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly is in town, wear your comfortable shoes because you will be partying all night!! The original members are Frankie Beverly ( leader & lead vocalist ), Roame ( congas & background vocals ), The other members that form Maze are Larry Kimpel ( bass guitar ), John "Jubu" Smith ( lead guitar & background vocals ), Carl Wheeler ( keyboards & background vocals ), Vance Taylor ( keyboards ), Calvin Napper ( drummer).
